Our client is redefining the future of transportation fleets by offering a cutting-edge fleet management platform and service marketplace. We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to play a key role in building this innovative platform, which helps customers keep their vehicles on the road. The platform is powered by Java on the backend, React on the frontend, and REST APIs, and operates within a microservices architecture hosted on AWS. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain systems that support fleet management, the marketplace, and the overall platform Build robust software solutions that prioritize performance, security, reliability, and monitoring within a multi-tenant SaaS environment Document and share system designs to ensure team members can quickly understand trade-offs and system functionality Actively contribute to an Agile Scrum team by participating in ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Collaborate with product management to refine, estimate, and plan the product roadmap for upcoming features Requirements A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development Strong expertise in Java for backend development, including hands-on coding and debugging Experience with microservices architecture, including designing and deploying distributed systems Knowledge of AWS Lambda functions written in Java, including deployment and optimization Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS, including schema design and query optimization Familiarity with DynamoDB for managing NoSQL databases in a cloud environment Experience with Github Actions for CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or above Nice to have Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code to manage and provision cloud resources We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
