In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our DevOps practices, shaping architectural designs, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance our development and operational environments. This position is ideal for a DevOps professional who excels in project planning, automation, and infrastructure management. What You’ll Do DevOps Culture and Collaboration Promote a DevOps mindset across development and operations teams, advocating for best practices in automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment. Work closely with management, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams (QA, Product, and Business) to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices and align project goals with business needs. Provide exceptional support, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure platform stability. Infrastructure and Pipeline Development Design, build, and maintain highly reliable and scalable product platforms, ensuring security, performance, and cost efficiency. Develop and support robust development pipelines, automating infrastructure and application deployments to streamline delivery and minimize human intervention. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CDK to automate resource provisioning, configuration, and management across environments. Reliability, Monitoring, and Security Build telemetry and monitoring solutions to track system health, establish alerting thresholds, and optimize for high availability using tools like OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and CloudWatch. Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and application layers, protecting company data and client information. Manage systems with a focus on stability, security, performance, and capacity management, including proactive scaling and resource optimization. Continuous Improvement and Innovation Regularly evaluate new DevOps tools, trends, and technologies, integrating effective innovations to enhance DevOps operations. Identify inefficiencies within development and deployment workflows, implementing improvements to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve agility. Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring that infrastructure can withstand failures and quickly recover from disruptions. What You Bring 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level cloud architecture and design, with hands- on expertise in AWS services (DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, IAM, and Firehose). Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher) for orchestrating microservices and deploying scalable applications. Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation tasks. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically using Terraform and CDK for scalable infrastructure management. Strong experience with monitoring and alerting tools (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog, PagerDuty) to ensure system health and quick issue resolution. Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and PowerShell for efficient and consistent infrastructure setup. Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery architectures to support fault tolerance and resilience. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Redis, DynamoDB) and storage solutions (e.g., S3) for data management. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure is highly valued. Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
