Qualifications - years' experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency) - In depth knowledge of ATPCO Data Application for fares and pricing including Cats 31 & 33 - Knowledge of IATA Fare Construction - years experience in performing airline pricing analysis using ATPCO fares and rules. Responsibilities - Working with airlines directly, perform research and analysis on shopping and pricing inquiries including automated reissues, and refunds using ATPCO Automated fares and rules. - Support cross-functional teams on pricing related projects. - Support internal QA, development, and functional support teams by assisting with functional questions. - Perform testing of development fixes and changes including the review of regression results. - Collaborate among other Pricing Specialists - Attend customer meetings where a pricing SME is required - Expected to become the subject matter expert (SME). - Support developers working on pricing related functions. - Conduct internal training and/or Quality Assurance overviews. Skills - Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing especially Voluntary Reissues (Cat 31) and Refunds (Cat 33) - Explicit knowledge of ATPCO Taxes, YQ/YR Fees, Bags & Optional Services subscription services - Overall knowledge of ATPCO fares and pricing, in particular ATPCO Data Application - Overall knowledge of the airline industry - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Efficient time management and presentation skills - Works well in a team environment - Strong analytical and problem solving skills including critical thinking - Confidence to participate and contribute within a technically-advanced, fast-paced, highly-skilled environment.
