As a BDR Team Lead, you’ll play a critical role in making sure our outreach teams deliver consistent results, follow best practices, and keep client pipelines full of high-quality opportunities. About the Role As the BDR Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading and training a team of cold call Business Development Representatives (BDRs), enforcing process discipline, and ensuring campaigns run with precision. Beyond managing performance, you’ll also act as an Account Manager, owning campaign planning across list building, targeting, scripting, and overall outreach strategy to align with client goals. You’ll serve as the secondary point of contact for clients, supporting the Client Success Officer and Team Manager to ensure client objectives are consistently met. You’ll also work closely with the Operations and List Building Teams to deploy new processes, manage pipeline flow, and ensure BDRs always have qualified contacts to dial. Complete the short 20-minute test and submit your resume and audio recording using this link: https://app.testgorilla.com/s/rl43lhwd Key Responsibilities - Lead, manage, and train a team of cold call BDRs to consistently achieve and exceed performance goals. - Act as an Account Manager for assigned clients, planning campaigns and aligning strategies with client objectives. - Own targeting, scripting, and campaign strategy to maximize outreach effectiveness. - Pilot test cold calling campaigns for completely new targeting or messaging to get confirmation data fast before deploying to BDRs. - Ensure BDRs are proficient in and correctly using all required tools, including Slack, Coda, Calendly, HubSpot, and Nooks. - Enforce process adherence: make sure BDRs follow the exact outreach workflows required by the business. - Monitor performance metrics, show rates, run regular coaching sessions, and provide feedback to drive improvement. - Enforce CRM best practices, ensuring all activities, notes, and outcomes are logged correctly for accurate client reporting. - Ensure BDRs complete all required post-meeting booking follow-up practices, including sending confirmation emails, introducing the client, gifting links, and other client-specific steps. - Ensure BDRs properly follow up with warm leads that have been contacted previously, maintaining engagement until conversion or disqualification. - Actively coordinate with the List Building Team to ensure BDRs always have a continuous, high-quality pipeline of contacts to dial. - Support the Client Success Officer and Team Manager by keeping execution aligned with client goals and campaign objectives. - Cooperate with the Operations Team to successfully deploy process updates and tool changes across the team. - Provide structured feedback on what’s working in the field and where improvements can be made. What We’re Looking For - Minimum 2 years of experience as a B2B BDR Team Lead (managing cold call or outbound sales teams). - At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a cold call B2B BDR/SDR. - Strong training, coaching, and performance management skills. - Detail-oriented with the ability to enforce process adherence, CRM discipline, and follow-up practices. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Success, and Operations teams. - Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools, processes, and client requirements. - Strict and detail-oriented in enforcing process adherence, CRM discipline, and follow-up practices. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. - Familiarity with Slack, Coda, Calendly, HubSpot, and Nooks (or similar sales/operations tools) is a strong plus.
