Virtu Medical is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer with experience building iOS and Android applications to lead development on a new app we are building. Candidates should have a proven track record of shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play. You will collaborate with team members in Virtu Medical to build apps in an agile environment. Responsibilities Design and develop mobile applications using any of the following: Flutter, Swift, Kotlin. Collaborate with program managers, designers, and backend developers to define app features and functionality. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development. Embrace and institute best practices and coding standards (e.g., code reviews and integration tests) within the team. Participate in technical meetings and contribute towards next-generation software design. Enhance the CI/CD pipelines, tools, and engineering processes used to build, test, deploy, and monitor the product. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications. Qualifications Around 8 years of experience in designing, architecting, and driving the development of mobile applications from start to finish. Fluency in English , with strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong background in object-oriented programming. Experience with front-end languages and frameworks such as Typescript, Angular, and Node.js. Experience in iOS/Android development and related frameworks/languages. Experience in building layouts with CSS and HTML. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience with database design and development. Experience with cloud technologies (such as Azure). Experience using Git/Source Control. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar engineering disciplines, including software engineering.
