The Logistics & Planning Manager will provide to the business an efficient, effective and resilient transport setup across all our main supply chain flows: B2B jewelry, B2B Point of Sales Materials and B2C (E-Commerce). Your Role as a Manager, Logistics & Planning: · Lead the Logistics Team: Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure an efficient, effective, and resilient transport setup. Lead team of 2-3 specialists. · Carrier Management: Oversee and manage all carrier relationships to ensure adherence to cost, service level, and performance targets. · Budget Oversight: Manage and monitor the transport spend budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets. · Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the carrier landscape to identify opportunities for service enhancements, cost savings, and lead time reductions. Support commercial operations by identifying and implementing continuous improvements in logistics processes · Negotiation Leadership: Support and eventually lead negotiations with logistics partners to secure optimal terms and performance, in collaboration with Procurement team. · 3PL Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), implementing robust management frameworks and performance metrics. · Project Leadership: Drive key logistics initiatives and projects, such as seasonal carrier strategies, onboarding new carriers and the implementation of new Transport Management Systems, in collaboration with local and global teams. · Performance Analytics: Prepare, analyze, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics performance data to stakeholders across the organization. · Data & Analytics Maturity: Champion the advancement of data transparency and analytics capabilities within the logistics function. · Budget Planning: Contribute to the preparation of the annual AME budget in collaboration with team specialists. · Industry Awareness: Ensure the team remains informed about the latest trends and innovations in logistics and supply chain management. · Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a long-term carrier strategy aligned with business goals and service requirements.
