Objective: Identifies, analyses, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity. Supports decisions related to financial and non-financial strategic alternatives and develops and maintains operational plans. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will take on the responsibility of several existing business critical data models (Power BI semantic models) and Power BI apps, and act as the product owner and developer of these products. As the product owner, you will identify and scope opportunities for innovation and efficiencies with feedback from the business. As the product developer, you will create appropriate solutions and deploy them to the end-users. In this role, you will work with Worley’s sales and financial data. Key responsibilities include: - Operate as a self-starter while effectively integrating into a team with well-established, mature processes and procedures, contributing independently while respecting existing frameworks. - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI apps, including back-end data infrastructure utilizing tools such Power Automate, Power BI Dataflow, and Microsoft Dataverse. - Be a Product Owner of existing and new applications, with responsibility and accountability for product availability, stakeholder engagement, and leading continuous improvement efforts. - Translate complex data into meaningful narratives and visualizations for senior management and executives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver custom BI solutions. - Conduct periodic access and data security audits - Develop and maintain documentation on reporting processes, metrics definitions, and data sources. Qualifications Requirements: Professional: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Experience: 5 -10 years - Expert knowledge and at least 3 years of direct work experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling with RLS. Including working with various data sources such as SQL databases, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Salesforce. PL-300 certification is preferred. - Experience in sales or finance field of work and is familiar with financial calculations involving revenue, gross margin, and EBIT. - Familiar with other Microsoft Power platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights to non-technical audiences - Familiarity with industry data governance techniques and best practices.
