About the team / role The Treasury/ALM Manager is partof the Treasury/ALM Banking Alliance. ALM’s goal is to provideanalytics and suggest strategies to optimize Nubank’s balance sheetin line with the bank's risk appetite in order to protect Nubank’sinterests, reputation, liquidity position, rating, andprofitability. It also coordinates active liquidity management forthe execution of funding and investment activities. Responsibilities include adherence to the ALM strategy, compliancewith regulatory requests, contingency funding plan, and indirectly,the liquidity stress tests. Assessment of tax framework changes andtheir impacts, necessary FTP updates, and performance of accountingexercises when necessary. As a Treasury Manager, you're expectedto: - Plan and execute funding strategies, liquidity management,capital monitoring, and prudential usage of derivatives. - Overseethe execution of the contingency funding plan and liquidity stresstests. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requests. - Assess theimpacts of tax framework changes on the portfolios. - Update FTP,approvals, and clarify and improve policies when necessary. -Perform IFRS or other accounting exercises when necessary. -Maintain a high level of technical expertise within the team,enhancing business and product knowledge. - Support and championthe development and coaching of the team. We are looking for aTreasury Manager, who has: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, or Industrial Engineering, among others. - Minimum 7 yearsof experience in a similar job position in the financial industry. - Experience and technical knowledge of the fixed-income market. -Excel and SQL experience (nice to have). - Fluency in Spanish andEnglish. - Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-pacedenvironment. - Strong communication and presentation skills.
