Job Description We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Go programming language, as well as experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL), Kafka, and PostgreSQL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Go and related technologies. They will also contribute to existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance performance and reduce complexity. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise in backend technologies and a sharp ability to streamline development within tight timelines. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly, and ensure code quality through thoughtful development and testing practices. Requirements - At least 5 to 8+ years of professional experience with modern engineering practices. - Strong hands-on software development experience with Go (GoLang). - Proven experience building production-grade applications with Go (GoLang). - Proficiency in: Go, APIs (REST, GraphQL), Kafka, PostgreSQL. - Ability to work within existing architectures with a focus on consistency, maintainability, and delivery. - Ability to contribute in both monoliths and microservice environments. - Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers. - Comfortable with evaluating solutions pragmatically and applying proven patterns. - Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
