About the Salesforce Solution Consultant The SolutionConsultant will drive solution architecture in sales pursuits, be atrusted client advisor and ensure consistent delivery for clientsin the Salesforce space. The Solution Consultant serves as asubject matter expert in a skill and/or solution and is responsiblefor client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, andknowledge management. The Solution Consultant works closely withthe Project Manager and Project Lead Engineer to interpret anddocument client goals to ultimately enable theauthoring/development of quality solutions that meet therequirements of our clients. Responsibilities - Interview clientstakeholders to understand their business problems and translatethem into solution requirements. - Guide clients through theimplementation of Salesforce solutions. - Serve as the technicalleader for Salesforce projects. - Translate business requirementsinto well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforceplatforms and products. - Provide detailed level of effortestimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risksto a solution’s feasibility and functionality. - Design elegant,innovative Salesforce solutions involving configuration ofSalesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complexdata models, external integration, business process automation, andother custom functionality. - Draft custom developmentspecifications and drive the delivery and testing of thefunctionality by Development resource. - Provide hands-on,expert-level technical assistance to developers. - Design andmanage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution isdelivered. - Follow and understand new Salesforce product andtechnical capabilities resulting from product releases andacquisitions. - Provide expertise during sales efforts to informsolutions and estimate the technical level of effort. - Demonstratethought leadership through different mediums, e.g., publishing,public speaking, client presentations. Qualifications - 7+ years ofCRM industry experience. - Minimum 4 years of Salesforce platformexperience. - Proven ability to design and optimize businessprocesses and integrate business processes across disparatesystems. - Excellent client-facing, written and oral communicationsskills. - Strength in business analysis to uncover businessprocesses and procedures. - Active Salesforce certifications orability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
