As a Sports Data Operator, your responsibilities include collecting and monitoring teams, lineups, and players using specialized software, tracking performance, and providing feedback to game managers. Video Operations Specialist We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented operations specialist to join our team focused on delivering high-quality video and streaming services for the sports industry. The successful candidate will ensure seamless operation of tactical video setups and maintain exceptional service standards for our clients. Working with the Auto-Produced Video department, this individual will also maintain legacy video products that serve our data platforms and APIs. Adaptability to future requirements is essential. Specific responsibilities include: Review Video Setups: Conduct comprehensive reviews of tactical & other video setups, ensuring proper pitch coverage, lens configurations, zoom settings, and video & audio quality. Document connectivity issues and assess their impact on operations. Confirm the ability to produce tactical video from main and reverse setups. Perform camera calibrations pre and/or live-game, or after camera adjustments. Maintain and output quality control of video stitching and calibration. Monitor live streams and review metrics to ensure performance and viewer experience. Utilize troubleshooting tools to address issues promptly and collaborate with third parties or internal teams as needed. Support customer inquiries and resolve operational issues. Perform daily maintenance tasks such as aligning AI data for video indexing, uploading customer videos, auditing video sources, and vendor communications. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English. Strong tolerance for repetitive tasks. Knowledge of sports terms and markings. Experience making time-critical judgments in live data processing and engineering support. Experience collaborating remotely in live settings. Understanding of major professional sports leagues' landscape. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Experience in video production, streaming services, or technical support for live sports events. Strong understanding of video technology, including cameras, connectivity, and streaming protocols. Basic knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS. Basic network troubleshooting skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic coding skills or willingness to learn scripting (Python/JavaScript). Additional Qualifications Ability to present opinions effectively in group settings. Desire and aptitude to learn new skills. Self-motivated with good workload management. Position Details Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
