Title: Desktop Infrastructure Engineer III (VDI) Location: Bogota, Colombia Duration: 12 Month Contract-Perm Setting: Remote - Must be local to Bogota Compensation: $2700-3900/Month USD Summary : We are seeking an experienced VDI Engineer specializing in Enterprise Windows 365 to join our IT team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) within Microsoft’s Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in virtual desktop solutions, a deep understanding of Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystems, and expertise in optimizing virtual environments for a seamless user experience. You will also perform technical and administrative planning and design of our client's Global Above Store workstation portfolio. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving and strong technical aptitude is essential. Must-Have: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of experience in VDI management, specifically with Windows 365 and/or Azure Virtual Desktop. • Proficiency in Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop setup, configuration, and administration. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, including Azure AD, resource groups, and networking concepts. • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation and environment optimization. • Familiarity with network protocols, firewall rules, and security practices for virtualized environments. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Plusses: • Microsoft Certification(s) or equivalent experience (e.g., MCITP-Enterprise, MCSE, MCSA, MCDST, Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Virtual Desktop Specialty, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate). • Experience with other VDI platforms (VMWare Horizon, Amazon Workspaces). • Windows Autopilot experience. • Formal software development experience. • Linux and MacOS experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
