Our GBS Manager Business Assurance Americas will be accountable for ensuring that the BA GBS Colombia office provides a high-level back-office service to the BA operations in the Americas while managing the costs of service and being responsible for the supervision of the GBS Supervisor, technical reviewers, and other key team members. Responsibilities Participate in the project planning while performing the process analysis and design (AS IS and TO BE processes) when a new country or new activity is planned to be transferred to the BA GBS Latin America office. Validate the People Impact analysis and support the training of the new GBS staff. Support the preparation of the business case as necessary, while participating in the recruitment process of the BA GBS staff. This may include review of CVs and participation in interviews as necessary. Prepare the Service Level Agreements including the definition of KPIs in conjunction with BA GBS Managers. Monitor the progress of the training of the new GBS staff and intervene if necessary. At the end of the training validate and sign-off the new team as ready to go live. Report any deviations or risks during the project phase to the BA Global Head of Operations and set up action plans. Support the recruitment process of new GBS staff and make final decision on candidates. This may include review of CVs and participation in interviews as necessary. Ensure that working conditions are provided including office space, computers, desks etc. Liaise with SGS Colombia management in case of such needs. Approve purchase orders. Monitor process KPIs and initiate actions when KPI results are not satisfactory. Represent the GBS and be the main contact point to external parties: BA operations in other countries, BA Global Business, SGS Colombia. Initiate and implement process efficiency actions, responsible for accurate cost allocation within the GBS. Monitor the costs of the GBS and report any deviations to the BA Global Head of Operations & Shared Services. Check invoices before sending to the BA affiliates. Ensure that the BA GBS Latin America office complies with SGS BA Global & Product Procedures, relevant local procedures and accreditation requirements. Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly calls between the relevant BA Businesses and the BA GBS Latin America office as necessary. Review the SLAs annually and recommend changes as necessary. Maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge of the BA processes. Harmonize the processes of the different country teams. Collaborate with GBS BA Managers to bring consistency to process and procedures across the GBS network. Minimum Requirements University degree in a relevant technical subject (science, engineering, business) Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team of 40+ people Extensive travel capability, primarily within Latin America Strong technical competency in BA processes and IT tools Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills at all levels Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage through ambiguity Understanding of accreditation requirements and business process improvement Analytical mindset with change management experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
