The RTR ITP Sr. Team Lead is accountable for directing a team of General Ledger GL Accountants Leads and Sr Analysts in the timely and efficient execution of GL processes for their assigned Business Units. Specific Responsibilities Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility. Conduct regular staff meetings, including the creation and distribution of agendas that include issue discussions, shared learning, and team metrics. Prioritize, balance, and assign work to GL Leads. Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed. Guide the team on reaching KPIs defined by the company and address any issue that impacts KPIs in a timely manner. Train new hires on current processes and systems train all staff on any new processes or systems that are integrated into the RTR area. Ensure department systems and procedures are following company policies. Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures. Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center. Ensure the team follows the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with the accuracy and quality expected. Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley control objectives. Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams. Knowledge Skills Abilities Proficient in SBD s Enterprise Resource Planning ERP systems SAP Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes GL Accounting Proven high performer e.g., strong time management skills, ability to multitask, highly organized Ability to drive the completion of critical tasks by balancing the workloads among team members and holding team members accountable for assigned work. Excellent problem identification, prioritization, and remediation skills. Experience in training and managing others on highly technical processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices. Ability to appraise, reward, and mentor employees and a demonstrated penchant for continuous improvement of managerial skills. Goal orienteded ability to reach tight deadlines. Must be able to communicate in English in a fluent manner. Knowledge experience in US GAAP is a plus. Education Experience Bachelor s Degree in Accounting with 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision or lead role in a finance or accounting function required. Experience in ERP migration, HFM, and Black Line is a plus
