Tasks and Responsibilities Under thedirection of senior staff, the Consultant will support the businessand contribute to individual and client-facing outputs in thefollowing areas: Delivering Engagements - Deliver projects (e.g.,assess cyber risk, assess program maturity, develop strategic andtechnical program recommendations, develop, and deliver trainingand exercises) - Support senior staff who consult directly withclient executives, management, and security teams - Support seniorstaff who work with partners to deliver client solutions - Serve onincident response teams Supporting Business Development -Participate in client meetings - Contribute to proposals for futureclient work - Recognize opportunities for new business - Writearticles and thought leadership content to further Control Risks’expert brand Supporting the Growth of the Cyber Security ConsultingProgram - Help to refine our cyber security risk approaches -Contribute to program infrastructure, tools, and methodologies -Collaborate with consultants in other Control Risks departments -Conduct market research, vet solutions, and undertake otherdirected research projects Knowledge and Experience - Professionalknowledge of information security and risk principles - Experienceaddressing enterprise information security - Project managementexperience - Ability to translate technical analysis intoactionable recommendations, in both written and verbalcommunications - Knowledge of secure architecture and configurationfor various network topologies and endpoint environments -Knowledge of relevant IT and cyber security frameworks like (butnot limited to): NIST CSF (and associated cyber publications), CIS,ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS, etc. - Understanding of cyber andgeopolitical threat actors, attack tools, and methods - Ability toproduce and deliver well-crafted deliverables for clients -Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills Qualifications and Specialist Skills - At least 3-5 years directlyrelevant professional experience in IT, cyber security, orintelligence analysis related to technical intelligence, OSINTtradecraft. - Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferredin information security, cybersecurity, computer science,information systems management, computer engineering, or relateddiscipline. Experience is valuable and non-technical degrees areencouraged with relevant experience. - Concentrated experience inat least one information security domain (e.g., securityoperations, threat intelligence, strategic analysis, forensics,incident response, penetration testing, etc.) - Possess or abilityto earn one or more relevant industry certifications (Sec+,Network+, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, GSEC, GPEN, GCIH, etc.) ControlRisks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefitspackage that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.
