RemoteIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Account Executive to join our Rosetta Stone Latin America (LATAM) team. #LI-TL2The Account Executive for Latin America will create detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas, manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal, and unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long- term partnerships. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing customer base. #LI-REMOTEThis is a full-time remote position for candidates in Colombia (Bogota preferred) and will require up to 50% travel. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese proficiency is a plus. #LI-COLOMBIAWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGFocus on developing new customers and helping to expand businesses in other territories in Panama and South AmericaDevelop a keen understanding of customer needs and values to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales processMeet sales goals consistentlyHelp to design and implement new and creative sales strategiesBe an advocate with our marketing team to implement new strategy from feedback captured from customers and prospectsUnderstand and keep up to date with ever-changing market trendsPromote Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences and other HR events in Latin AmericaBe responsible for all aspects of the customer experience, in collaboration with the customer success team, after the sale, by delivering aftercare calls to identify areas for improvement or expansion opportunitiesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years of sales experience in the edtech or software industry in the territoryExperience in value selling or solution selling of software products, SaaS, and/or language learning and/or training platformsPrior exposure in the Education, HR, and/or L&D sector is a plusHigh honesty, integrity, and accountability skillsProven experience working with Education and Corporate customers from large organizationsExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsFull bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is requiredDeep knowledge of the academic sector and language training is a plusGood communication and time management skills are requiredComputer and software knowledge and proficiency in Office 365 tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce desired), web conferencing, among othersAbility to travel (up to 50%) when requiredABOUT IXL LEARNINGIXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company.
