The role: Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, Kiwibot is seeking a Corporate Development & FP&A; Senior Analyst who will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analytics, and will assist with M&A; processes and due diligence. This hybrid role is structured as 60% Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) and 40% Corporate Development (Corp Dev). You’ll support strategic decision-making by partnering with cross-functional teams, building models, automating reporting workflows, and helping senior leadership interpret financial performance. This is a high-visibility role critical to our next stage of growth, making it ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys both transaction execution and operational financial insights. This new role is designed for an individual with strong budgeting, financial, and business intelligence (BI) skills, along with an interest in corporate strategy as well as in mergers and acquisition. Key Responsibilities: * Financial Planning & Analysis (60%) Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Develop and maintain company-wide financial models—revenue, cost structure, unit economics, headcount, margin. Build and own the FP&A; deliverables calendar, including timelines for budget cycles, board reporting, and earnings prep. Design and automate standardized P&L; reports, dashboards, and variance analyses by function and geography. Translate data into insights—supporting scenario modeling, trade-off analysis, and resource allocation decisions. Partner with department leaders (Ops, HR, Engineering, Sales) to align budgets with strategic objectives. Own preparation of financial presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, and the board. Create, automate, and maintain BI dashboards to track financial and operational KPIs (e.g., delivery cost per unit, customer acquisition cost, monthly cost per location, etc). Automate financial and operational reporting workflows using Excel, Google Sheets, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. * Corporate Development (40%): Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met. Support the due diligence process by gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial, operational, and market data. Assist in reviewing and managing contracts, transaction documentation, and board/shareholder approvals. Maintain project documentation and ensure efficient communication across teams involved in corporate development initiatives. Develop and improve processes to ensure accuracy in spend tracking, variance analysis, and performance metrics. Support finance and legal teams in gathering financial data for investor due diligence, audits, and regulatory filings. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degreed in related fields is highly desirable. * Experience: 4-6 years of experience in FP&A;, strategic finance, or finance operations at a high-growth startup, investment bank, or consulting firm. Strong command of financial modeling, business analysis, and budgeting frameworks across different platforms (Excel, G-Suite) Exposure to M&A; transactions, business development, strategic planning, and corporate governance processes is a plus. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and synthesize financial data for non-financial stakeholders. Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, etc.) is required. Experience in the technology, manufacturing, robotics, or autonomous vehicle industries is highly desirable. * Skills: Deep familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, and reporting systems (e.g., Gusto, QuickBooks, Deel, Ramp, etc.). Proficiency in BI tools for data visualization, reporting, and analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data. Professional proficiency in English: excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial and business concepts clearly. Exceptional organizational skills—ability to manage multiple projects, track deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the technology, manufacturing, robotics, or autonomous vehicle industries is highly desirable. - Attributes: Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
