Job Purpose The CI&T IT Manager is a crucial member of our local IT department, dedicated to efficiently and accurately resolving technical issues for end-users. This role focuses on addressing technical queries, swiftly resolving problems, and providing guidance while overseeing the local IT operations. The IT Manager ensures the secure and efficient functioning of technology systems, delivers technical support to internal clients, and aligns global IT policies with local realities through process consolidation, all aimed at achieving the organization's overall objectives. Key Responsibilities -Leadership: Inspire and motivate the IT team while managing the IT budget. Identify and implement technological innovations, including AI solutions, to boost company productivity. Address local challenges effectively by providing targeted solutions for tech-related issues. -Technical Support: Respond to user queries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions, ensuring the efficient operation of technology systems. -Best Practices: Establish and train team members on service standards for tech support across hardware, software, and network issues. -Documentation: create and maintain local IT / Tech Stop processes documentation and adjust them to local reality, as well as create user guides to ensure clear communication and compliance. -Communication: Effectively convey complex technical information, prioritize issues, and provide exceptional customer service. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical problems for workstations and IT equipment, and assist with software updates and system upgrades. -User Training: Provide in-person training on IT tools and best practices, ensuring user-friendly communication. -Collaboration: Work with business teams across the enterprise area and local vendors to address IT needs and propose effective technological solutions. Inventory Management: Track and manage IT inventory, evaluate technology vendors, and establish strategic partnerships. Additional Responsibilities Proactiveness to find solutions Analyze root causes of IT issues and develop prevention procedures. Perform employee onboarding, both remote and in-person. Enforce IT security policies and procedures locally to protect company data and provide guidance to employees locally. Knowledge and Experience Requirements Experience: End-user support, leading IT teams, and working with IT vendors. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Linux Ubuntu, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Jira Service Management, Office 365, and knowledge of RMM and MDM tools. Communication: Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal. Education Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent experience. Availability for onsite work (hybrid model in Medellin, Colombia).
