Publicado por: Margith Castro Gerente General JOB PURPOSE The Sales Representative will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with customers across the Caribbean region. This role is critical to the mission of delivering seamless service, dependable supply chains, and expert product guidance. The representative will act as the primary point of contact for customers in the region, working closely with the in-house team to coordinate order processing, logistics, and reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Engagement • Proactively contact potential and existing customers, including hardware stores, construction supply businesses, and contractors, to introduce products and services. • Provide tailored recommendations based on customers’ specific needs, leveraging in-depth product knowledge. • Maintain consistent engagement by connecting with customers daily through calls, emails, or virtual meetings. Sales Development • Identify and pursue new opportunities through market research, networking, and referrals. • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, including acquiring new customers per month. Order Coordination • Collect accurate order details from customers and relay them to the in-house team for data entry and processing. • Act as a liaison between customers and the in-house logistics team to ensure timely and precise delivery of materials. Customer Relationship Management • Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and providing exceptional service. • Reactivate inactive customers through targeted outreach and engagement strategies. • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Market Intelligence • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer purchasing behaviours in the Caribbean, Central and South American regions. • Share insights with the in-house team to inform marketing, inventory planning, and sales strategies. • Reporting and Oversight • Submit daily or weekly activity reports summarizing customer interactions, sales performance, and feedback. • Participate in regular virtual meetings with the in-house team to align on goals, challenges, and strategies. Collaboration with In-House Team • Work closely with in-house sales, logistics, and buyer teams to ensure seamless operations. • Leverage in-house expertise to address complex customer needs and provide solutions. • Use shared communication tools (e.g., One Drive, Microsoft Teams) for real-time updates and collaboration. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • Proven sales experience, preferably in hardware, construction, or supply industries. • Strong understanding of the Caribbean, Caribbean, Central and South American market and its cultural/business nuances. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish. • Ability to analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities. • Ability to work independently in a remote role while maintaining alignment with company objectives. • Proficiency in using CRM tools; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus. • Strong organizational and time management skills.
