The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in achieving our mission by leading strategic sourcing and procurement efforts. They oversee and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: - Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service level agreements. - Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including price discounts and delivery schedules. - Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings through vendor consolidation, contract renegotiation, or alternative sourcing strategies. - Resolve supplier disputes and negotiate settlements in a fair and transparent manner. - Contract Management: - Develop and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that they accurately reflect the agreed-upon terms and conditions. - Work closely with legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including payment schedules, delivery timelines, and performance metrics. - Monitor contract performance and identify any potential risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate them. - Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations in a timely and efficient manner. - Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations, such as procurement regulations and industry standards. - Identify and mitigate procurement and contract risks, including supply chain disruptions, non-compliance, and reputational damage. - Maintain accurate records and documentation, including contract history, performance metrics, and risk assessments. - Identify and assess potential contract risks, taking steps to mitigate them before they become major issues. - Ensure that contracts include appropriate safeguards and protections, such as warranties, indemnifications, and dispute resolution mechanisms. - Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis, providing insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and contract compliance. - Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as contract value, supplier diversity, and spend under management. - Provide recommendations for process improvements, identifying areas where automation, technology, or other innovations can enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5 years' experience in procurement, including full contract lifecycle management. - Proven track record of delivering results-driven procurement strategies, improving contract compliance, and reducing costs. - Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations and resolve disputes effectively. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a talent for identifying creative solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners. - Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards, including ISO 9001, C-TPAT, and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism. - Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, with experience using tools like SAP Ariba, Oracle Procure-to-Pay, or similar platforms.
