We are seeking a highly analytical and results-drivenCost Controller to ensure accurate cost accounting. The CostController will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, andreporting company costs, ensuring they remain within establishedbudgets, and optimizing resource use. Key Responsibilities: - CostControl and Oversight - Review and analyze the company’s monthlyoperational and administrative costs to identify variances. -Implement cost control procedures and conduct internal audits toensure accuracy in cost records. - Oversee proper recording andclassification of costs, including materials, labor, and overheadexpenses. - Financial Analysis and Reporting - Prepare reports onbudgeted vs. actual cost variances, identifying the root causes ofthese differences. - Cost Budgeting and Forecasting - Assist inpreparing the annual cost budget and conduct periodic reviews tocompare actual results with the budget. - Collaborate on financialforecasting, projecting future costs based on historical trends andbusiness plans. - Process Optimization and Cost Reduction - Proposeand implement strategies for cost reduction by analyzingefficiencies in production and administrative processes. - Workwith other departments to identify cost optimization opportunitiesacross the company. - Inventory Control - Supervise inventory andmaterial costs, ensuring compliance with valuation standards underUS GAAP. - Implement controls and procedures to minimize losses andensure optimal inventory turnover. Requirements: - Education: -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. -Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting,financial control, or similar roles in companies adhering to USGAAP standards. - Technical Knowledge: - Familiarity withaccounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks). - AdvancedExcel skills for data analysis. - Competencies: - Strong analyticalskills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, andexcellent communication and collaboration abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Finance
