Job Description The Contract Management role involves leadingthe negotiation and drafting of various agreements, identifyingcontractual risks, and guiding internal stakeholders on riskmitigation strategies. This position serves as a trusted advisor oncontractual rights and remedies while fostering collaboration withbusiness units, legal counsel, and external contacts globally. YourResponsibilities Leading the negotiating and drafting of salesagreements, nondisclosure agreements, master purchase agreements,and master services agreements. Reviewing and seeking outcontractual risks, and guide others within the organization on waysto mitigate those risks. Interacting with people from businessunits, legal counsel, and other functions to obtain approval fornon-standard contractual positions. Serving as a trusted advisor tothe company on contractual rights and remedies. Developing andcarrying out training plans on company contracting processes.Networking globally with key contacts outside one’s own area ofexpertise. Growing personally and professionally through continuouslearning and development of skills. Making an impact ondepartmental process improvements and project activities.Participating in global calls and meetings via phone, Teams, oroccasionally travel in-person. Giving customers a valuableexperience. Provide support to other departments at Rockwell as aSubject Matter Expert (SME). The Essentials - You Will Have 3 to 5years’ experience in negotiating terms and conditions of sales orpurchase contracts. Bachelor’s Degree in law or business or relatedfield. Hybrid work-from-home and at a Rockwell Automation facilityin Mexico City, Mexico or Bogotá, Colombia. Rockwell Automationwill not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in thefuture, for this job opening. Occasional business travel within thedesignated region(s). Excellent English and Spanish speaking,comprehension, and writing skills. The Preferred - You Might AlsoHave Additional language speaking, comprehension and writing skillsA postgraduate degree in law, information security, cybersecurity,or a related field. Experience with negotiating contracts forEngineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software,Industrial Automation, and/or Technology. Experience withregulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and data privacylaws. Confidence with speaking in group settings and initiative todrive negotiations to a close. Strategic business focus as well asa strong code of ethics.
