DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING Position: Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sales & Marketing Director we are looking for will be able to manage leisure sales dynamics and marketing activities in the international markets for a 5-star Hotel on the Amalfi Coast, member of a worldwide renowned luxury hotel brand. Main Responsibilities: Complete all assigned tasks and achieve your assigned sales targets, delivering market-leading performance. Ensure the Hotel is the first choice for your designated accounts and maximize revenue and commercial opportunities with customers and partners. Deliver effective communication within the hotel as well as across the property's representation companies worldwide. Proactively position and market the property to remain a market leader and strengthen our brand image. Develop and execute marketing and social media strategies to drive revenue and meet property objectives. Act as the customer expert and advocate at the hotel. Ensure sales and marketing information provided to operations departments is timely, accurate, and enables the property to meet or exceed guest expectations, create customer loyalty, and grow market share. Identify changing market conditions and introduce appropriate changes in sales and marketing strategy. Represent customer needs to the rest of the hotel and communicate potential new revenue opportunities to the hotel executive team. Create and execute account plans for assigned European, US, APAC territories in the Leisure Segment. Conduct sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment. Effectively manage communication with the hotel affiliation brand maintaining regular dialogue and providing Sales & Marketing updates. Lead on-property sales functions and leverage above-property sales resources to deliver results. Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure work is of the highest level. Oversee all aspects of systems, administration, database, and facilities of on-site sales activities. Be responsible for overseeing the Reservations Department. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position. Strong experience in the luxury leisure segment. Good decision-making, selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to organize, delegate, and work under pressure. Deep knowledge of hospitality European and US markets both leisure and trade. Coaching and development skills are expected. Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner. Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Fidelio Opera, Ideas G3 Revenue Management system, and social media channels. Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in Italian and English. High flexibility is required. Other languages such as French and/or German are a plus. Legal right to work in Italy.
