The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Bogota, Andean Countries HUB internship is for six (6) months. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants may be requested to undertake the internship remotely in view of constraints regarding visa issuance, international travel and access to UN premises. Applicants must be willing and prepared to undertake the internship remotely for a part or the entirety of the internship. The work hours during the internship shall be determined based on individual discussion between the intern and the supervisor(s) taking into consideration the minimum requirements of the Organization and the time difference between the hosting office and the location of the intern. The Internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned. **Responsibilities**: Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background; the intern's assigned office as well as the internship period. Under the direct supervision of Administrative and Financial Specialist, and Coordinator, the intern will: - Support the HUB Coordinator and the Communications Analyst in the implementation of the projects of UN-Habitat Andean Countries HUB, in tasks related to internal and external communication, as well as in the planning of the strategic agenda, management of events and missions, development of work materials, preparation of documents, contact with media, and/or making notes and/or press events. - Develop different media products (web, social media platforms, advertising promotion and broadcast media) to disseminate the results derivate from UN-Habitat HUB Andean Countries Projects to different target audiences. - Support in completing journalistic reports on online and offline platforms on topics related to UN-Habitat HUB Andean Countries to incorporate the message and the topics of the campaign into all events and relevant products. - Support the design of graphic pieces and image editing on demand of the HUB and in line with the image requirements of the United Nations, UN-Habitat and other campaigns needed. - Support in the layout of technical documents and presentations developed in the HUB to facilitate the readability of the reports. - Support video editing processes. - Support the design of websites in the framework of the Projects implemented in the HUB. - Keep the graphic contents updated with the information provided by the projects team. - Assist the Coordination of the HUB in the graphic processes. - Support the drafting of formal communications and support all communications. - Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as necessary.
