Role Summary:The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for LATAM is a critical leadershiprole responsible for driving both organic and non-organic growthacross the Latin American region. This individual will lead andexecute effective strategies to expand market share, identify andcapitalize on business opportunities, build strong clientrelationships, and drive revenue generation. The CGO willcollaborate closely with regional and global leadership to ensurealignment with overall business objectives and regional guidelines. This role requires a deep understanding of the LATAM market, strongleadership skills, and a proven track record of success in businessdevelopment and revenue generation. Requirements: 15+ years ofexperience in Media Advertising leading business development,marketing, data analytics, and digital growth, with proven successin professional services. Key Responsibilities: Organic Growth: -Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implementcomprehensive organic growth strategies, including marketpenetration, product development, and service expansion, tailoredto the specific needs of the LATAM market. - Client RelationshipManagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships withexisting clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction andidentifying opportunities for growth within those accounts. -Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market researchand analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape,and unmet client needs. Use this information to inform growthstrategies and identify new market opportunities. - DemandGeneration: Develop and execute marketing and communicationstrategies to generate demand and build brand awareness within theLATAM region. - Networking & Market Presence: Activelyparticipate in industry events and conferences to represent GroupMand build relationships with potential clients and partners. - LeadGeneration & Qualification: Develop and implement leadgeneration strategies, including active prospecting and referralprograms, to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads. - ContentMarketing & Thought Leadership: Develop and curate high-qualitycontent to position GroupM as a thought leader in the industry andattract potential clients. Non-Organic Growth: - New BusinessDevelopment & Pitch Management: Lead and oversee the entire newbusiness development process, from identification and qualificationof prospects to pitch development and presentation. This includes: - Prospecting & Qualification: Actively identify and qualifypotential new clients through market research, networking, andreferrals. Analyze client needs and develop targeted outreachstrategies. - Pitch Strategy & Development: Lead thedevelopment of compelling and customized pitch presentations thatshowcase GroupM's capabilities and address client-specificchallenges. Coordinate input and collaboration from variousinternal teams, including strategy, creative, client services, andproduct. - Pitch Presentation: Lead pitch presentations toprospective clients, effectively communicating GroupM's valueproposition. - Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline ofprospective clients and actively track progress through each stageof the sales cycle. - Strategic Partnerships & Alliances(within WPP Network): Develop and manage strategic partnerships andalliances specifically within the WPP network to leverageresources, expertise, and client relationships. Collaborate withother WPP agencies to identify opportunities for joint pitches andintegrated service offerings. Role Requirements: - Experience:Proven track record of success in business development, sales, andaccount management within the LATAM region. Experience with bothorganic and non-organic growth strategies is highly desirable. -Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspireand motivate teams, build consensus, and drive results. - MarketKnowledge: Deep understanding of the LATAM market, includingcultural nuances, business practices, and competitive landscape. -Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills inboth English and Spanish. Portuguese fluency is a plus. -Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functionalteams, including product, strategy, client services, and creative. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and makeinformed decisions.
