Position Title: Senior Frontend Engineer Location: Remote - Colombia What you will be doing: As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing responsive, accessible user interfaces that align with product requirements and deliver a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for owning the entire front-end development lifecycle, from the initial design phase through implementation, ensuring a cohesive and engaging UI/UX. Your responsibilities include: 1. UI/UX Development: Design and implement responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces using Vue.js, Vuetify, and TypeScript, translating product requirements into engaging user experiences. 2. Architecture and Design Systems: Establish and maintain front-end architecture and design systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across the application. 3. Testing and Best Practices: Drive front-end testing strategies, promoting best practices for unit and integration testing to ensure stability and reliability. 4. Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum performance, focusing on load times, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with back-end engineers to define and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration and a unified product. 6. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing development processes through CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and collaboration tools like Jira and BitBucket. Requirements & Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: 1. 5+ years of experience in building dynamic SPAs using Vue.js, including Vue Router, Vuex, and Vue CLI. 2. Experience with Vuetify for creating responsive, consistent UIs with Material Design components. 3. Skilled in using Vite for fast builds, hot module replacement, and workflow optimization. 4. Strong experience with TypeScript for reliable, maintainable, error-free code. 5. Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive, accessible layouts and components. 6. Proficiency with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution. 7. Comfortable working in Mac OS environment, using tools like Visual Studio Code. 8. Familiar with front-end testing frameworks for unit and integration testing. 9. Experience working with RESTful APIs for seamless data integration. 10. Ability to collaborate with designers using Figma and review UI/UX designs. 11. Experience with Jira and BitBucket for task management and version control. 12. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automation and efficient workflows. Desired Skills: 1. Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3. 2. Exposure to LangChain for AI-driven features and NLP workflows. 3. Experience with BitBucket Pipelines for CI/CD automation. 4. Knowledge of Azure Entra ID for secure authentication and authorization.
