In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize real-time analytics infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge tools and modern cloud environments to power fraud detection systems at scale. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your decisions and code directly impact product performance and customer outcomes. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, high-performance real-time data ingestion pipelines. Build and maintain infrastructure supporting real-time analytics and fraud detection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement new technologies. Deliver efficient, clean, and elegant code for high-throughput systems. Develop new features that detect complex and evolving fraud patterns in real time. Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives and CI/CD pipelines. Technical Requirements Must-Have Skills 6+ years of professional backend development experience. Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust. Experience with real-time data pipeline technologies (e.g., Apache Pinot, Apache Druid, Apache Flink, ClickHouse). Deep understanding of distributed systems and how to build/scale them. Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform. Proven experience developing and optimizing APIs and end-to-end data flows. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, source control, etc.). Desired Skills Advanced academic background (BS/MS/Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field. Exposure to real-time fraud detection or similar high-sensitivity systems. Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or infrastructure automation tools. Interest or background in data science or analytics. Soft Skills Strong sense of ownership and curiosity. Humility, collaborative spirit, and eagerness to learn.
