About the Role Our organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate will prepare account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues. The role requires adherence to internal controls and company policies, as well as support for external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Responsibilities - Assist management in implementing new financial projects to achieve timely and accurate results. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Support all local requirements for year-end activities in each region. - Be responsible for executing and completing internal and external audits for the region. - Develop and improve policies, procedures, and internal control standards. - Collaborate across Finance, Operations, and Human Resources areas to increase efficiency in accounting/financial processes. - Analyze expenses, revenue, variances, and balance sheet accounts for the region. - Execute assigned processes for pre-closing and closing activities to achieve timely and accurate results. - Propose improvements for accounting processes, identifying opportunities for automation. - Provide meaningful reports, presentations, analysis, and required information for managed projects/tasks. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting. - +4 years of proven experience as an accountant, desirable on financial companies. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Attention to detail. - Knowledge in financial modeling tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - IFRS or US GAAP knowledge. - Intermediate English level is a plus.
