Therefore we arelooking for a: Engineer Ageing Management – Long Term OperationProjects South America N2024119/CS Team The AM|LTO team assists ourpartners in the nuclear industry in the many challenges arisingfrom an ageing fleet, the necessity of reliable operations beyondinitial design life and an ever evolving set of regulatoryrequirements. The AM|LTO team was created in 2021 on the basis ofsuccesses achieved during Long Term Operations related projects asLTO-1 Borssele (NL), LTO Ringhals (SWE), LTO HFR (NL) and LTOAtucha I (ARG). The activities are branded as TULIP LTO, to promoteour international recognition. Our goal is to develop the team andpromote a structural growth in order to become a major independentactor in the global nuclear industry. In order achieve our goal, weare looking for an experienced engineer willing to drive our growthon the international stage by bringing to our clients NRG|Pallasexpertise. Position In your position you will perform as NRG|PALLASpart-time resident engineer at Atucha Nuclear Power Plant for theduration of the contracted activities. Your duties can besubdivided in two main parts: As part of the AM|LTO team you will: - Develop and own products in the field of ageing management; -Take the lead of product and business development; - Lead nationaland international projects in your field of expertise; - Contributeto the successful completion of national and international projectsin the field of Ageing Management; - Develop and maintain a networkof specialists and decision makers; - Actively participate inproject acquisition; - Represent NRG at national and internationalevents and in international workgroups. As a part-time residentengineer at Atucha Nuclear Power Plant: - Contribute to implementthe Ageing Management Programme of Atucha I; - Work independentlywithin the ranks of the client organization to achieve the projectgoals; - Contribute to the successful completion of the three yearslong outage of Atucha I in preparation of Long Term Operation; -Interact with the relevant personnel of the client organization to‘get things done’; - Perform project acquisition and businessdevelopment within the operating organization; - Scout foropportunities and work toward expansion of the business framework. In this position you will be required to travel between Argentinaand the Netherlands according to needs. It is expected that atleast half of the yearly working time will be spent at Atucha I NPPuntil completion of the contracted activities. Profile - You havean Engineering MSc or PhD, preferably in Nuclear Engineering; – –Other relevant MSc are also considered if accompanied by therelevant working experience; - You have 10+ years of experience ina relevant field and preferably in Nuclear Plant Life Managementprojects (Maintenance, LTO, Ageing Management). Experience ininternational and multicultural projects is a pre; - You haveproven records of successful project management; - You haveoutstanding communication and social skills; - You are proactiveand self-supporting; - You have excellent fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); - Extra language skills are a pre; -You are culturally aware; - You are keen to promote the company,build and maintain a network of specialists and decision makers; -You like to deliver quality work, on budget and on time; - You areambitious and driven to demonstrate excellence. Terms of employment Besides an interesting position and meaningful work, NRG alsooffers you good terms of employment. - A market-based salary; - 27vacation days and 12 days of flex time; - 8.3% year-end bonus and8% vacation allowance; - Pension with the ABP; NRG pays 70% of thepremium; - Commuting expenses are reimbursed at € 0.23 per k/m, upto a maximum of 50 km one way; Public transport expenses arereimbursed 100%. - Mobility budget of € 5,000 net (paid once, ifyou live 1.5 hours travel distance from our work location); - Amoving allowance if you do not live in the Netherlands.
