**Software Quality Control** **Full-Time** **Day Shift** **Medellin - Colombia** **Depending on experience** **Position Overview**: **Responsibilities**: - 1. Comprehensive Test Execution:_ - Create detailed and accurate test cases that cover various aspects and functionalities of the software. - Execute tests, track defects, and generate test reports to identify and report issues. - 2. Testing Methodologies and Quality Practices:_ - 3. Testing Strategy and Process Improvement:_ - Plan and design effective testing strategies to ensure thorough software testing coverage. - Propose solutions and enhancements to strengthen current processes and improve software quality. - Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and quality practices. 4. Collaboration and Defect Resolution: - Collaborate with the development team to accurately document and resolve defects. - Analyze test results and evaluate if the software meets established requirements and quality standards. - Understand the needs of stakeholders and communicate effectively to discuss problems and propose solutions. **Requirements**: - Bilingual with a high level of proficiency in English and Spanish. - Experience in the health and/or travel insurance industry is a plus. - Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively discuss problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders. - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software testing roles. - Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and development processes. - Experience in planning, designing, and executing software tests, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. - Familiarity with test automation tools and software testing tools like Postman. - Knowledge of related technical areas, such as databases, programming languages, web technologies, software architecture, APIs, and web services. - Proactive in proposing creative solutions, solving problems, and continuously developing your skills. - Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively on multiple projects simultaneously. - Professional degree related to systems, computer science, or related fields.
