Also known as a "Pre -Sales Consultant" or "Sales Consultant," the Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company’s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. These teams exist in both the Commercial (small to mid-sized accounts) and Enterprise (largest) market segments. Solid presentation and communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments. Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology. Knowledge of cloud technology. Experience in AI, automation, Generative AI Strategy and LLM-based Autonomous Agents. Established and experienced pre-sales professional, ideally previous experience as a Sales Engineer for a CRM/AI company or similar technology. Ability to build impactful assets, demonstrations, prototypes. Skills and track record on project delivery in a customer environment. Team delivery, working with large groups in pressurized environments to deliver challenging complex proposals, solution designs and solutions. Continuous learning attitude with a demonstrated history of self-enablement and advancement in both technology and behavioral areas. Ability to communicate efficiently up, down and across an organization, summarizing concepts, scenarios and situations to senior internal and external individuals and teams, including positioning negative recommendations or proposals. Self-management and organizational skills, able to prioritize work based on evaluation of different requirements. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Certifications Basic programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, volunteer work, etc.).
