Regulatory Compliance Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant regulations and laws. Key Responsibilities: - Perform in-depth analysis of new regulations and understand their impact on our business; - Assess and challenge action plans defined by business units and monitor their implementation; - Manage activities and prioritization to meet internal and regulatory deadlines; - Build and maintain strong relationships with different teams, including negotiation of deadlines; - Write and present objective and assertive regulatory matters (advisories and tracking); - Support business areas, assist in decision-making, and consider applicable terms; - Provide regulatory analysis in the approval flow of new products, services, or features; - Support prevention and detection of anomalies that may result in regulatory gaps; - Prepare and present training related to compliance matters; - Monitor, coordinate, and answer inquiries and inspections from supervisors; - Follow governance of regulatory issues to senior management through various committees; - Connect with Global Compliance team and follow Compliance methodology; - Supervise as a tech lead the other Compliance team members; Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business management, or related fields; - Previous exposure to regulatory compliance, financial products/services regulatory matters, and/or risk management/NFR in a financial or tech company or Consulting firm for at least 10 years; - No legal background; this position complements the existing team's profile; - Strong interpretation and logical thinking skills; - Ability to summarize main changes/to-do's of a new rule; - Experience in testing; - Experience working in structuring and measuring KPIs/KRIs, presenting information in dashboards and reports format; - Excellent communication skills: structured and objective - to liaise with senior management; - Negotiation and prioritization skills; - Fluent English; - JIRA, automation, queries, SQL, or other programming languages (to extract and manipulate data) would be a plus; Benefits: - Equity at Nubank equivalent to stock option plan; - Health insurance; - Vacations of 15 workdays; - Nu Language - Language learning program; - Parental leaves; Diversity and Inclusion at Nu We want to build products and experiences for everyone who wants to take back control over their finances, that's why we build strong and diverse teams that rise up to the challenge.
