Technical Operations Specialist "> Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the technical installations and infrastructure on our Data Centers. This position will be based in Bogota, Colombia, and reports directly to the Regional Manager LATAM, Data Center Operations. "> Responsibilities: "> "> - Conduct physical site inspections and report findings to ensure facilities are properly maintained and in good condition. "> - Attend generator monthly runs, record data, report incidents or malfunctions of the generators, and provide corrective maintenance as necessary. "> - Oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) actions, report issues found, and complete PMs. "> - Review and report tickets resolutions or completions. "> - Be available on site within 30 minutes in the event of an emergency that arises in the data center. "> - Ensure safety standards are met during maintenance activities and normal operations. "> "> Key Responsibilities: ">"> - Ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, meeting all standards and procedures, by leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources with attention to quality. "> - Plan and implement customer-requested work in a timely manner, ensuring the customer and company management are informed on the status and details of the work. "> - Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies during normal working hours in a proper and timely manner. Communicate calmly and clearly, following the emergency response plan. "> - Keep company management fully informed and briefed on all planned and corrective work occurring in the Data Center. "> "> Key Qualifications: ">"> - Possess strong technical knowledge and operational experience of Mechanical and Electrical systems in use in the Data Center environment, including transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS & STS units, RPP units, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and fire systems. "> - Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of HVAC principles and operations. "> - Exhibit strong communications skills, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure. "> - Display a commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables. "> - Show superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities. "> - Exhibit superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers. "> - Prove to be a strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; able to cover all gamut of tasks required to 'getting a job done.' "> - Highlight strong attention to detail. "> - Exhibit strong leadership skills. "> "> Experience/Education: "> "> - Hold education level complied with Local Degree standards, minimally at a M&E; or related technical education. "> - Have formal, relevant Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (M&E;) training. "> - Have past Safety Training completed for Data Center Operational Supervisors. "> - Have 2+ years of relevant work experience in a data center environment. ">
