We are seeking a skilled Industrial Designer to work on precision architectural metal fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that meet the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop precision architectural metal fabrication products using CAD software. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Conduct research on materials and manufacturing processes related to architectural metal fabrication. - Create 2D drawings and 3D models for precision architectural metal fabrication products. - Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design specifications are met. - Participate in design reviews and make necessary adjustments. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial design with a focus on precision architectural metal fabrication. - Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes related to architectural metal fabrication. - Experience in custom manufacture primarily in metal: interior and exterior doors, skylight enclosures, cladding, mirrors with metal accents, stairs, trim, etc. - Advanced knowledge of available hardware, screws, available material profiles, and fabrication methods. - Proficient in the development of fabrication drawings and shop drawings. - Understanding of engineering and rule-of-thumb conventions. - Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. - Fluent in English language and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - A portfolio showcasing your previous work in precision architectural metal fabrication.
