The Sr. Sales Account Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services. This customer-facing role requires self-motivated individuals with strong business, industry, and sales knowledge. The Sr. Sales Account Manager will use consultative skills to position AspenTech solutions, renew existing accounts, and grow our business. They will manage assigned accounts and opportunities to maximize revenue and deepen customer relationships. The role involves developing and maintaining business within energy industry accounts, including upselling solutions and services. As an individual contributor, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop client strategies, manage solutions, and close strategic opportunities. The ideal candidate will focus on maximizing value delivered by AspenTech solutions to clients by positioning our comprehensive software portfolio and implementation services across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and asset performance management sectors. Your Impact Develop business within assigned regions and upsell consulting services to existing customer accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop client strategies, manage clients, and close strategic opportunities. Build and manage relationships at all organizational levels. Communicate the value of solutions to customers and lead solution development to meet customer needs, coordinating support and management resources. Understand customer business priorities and initiatives, discussing industry trends and integrating solution knowledge. Maintain current understanding of software usage, white space, and competitors within accounts. Develop strategic account plans, opportunity plans, and pipeline strategies. Respond to RFPs, prepare bids, negotiate, and close sales. Provide updates and forecasts to sales and executive management. Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas. Forecast deals accurately for current and future quarters. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree Bilingual in Spanish and English At least 5 years of software sales or industry experience in consultative roles Strategic sales mindset, able to leverage existing solutions within industry sectors Proven track record in solution sales with multi-year quota achievement Excellent communication skills Self-discipline and motivation to exceed expectations Knowledge of process industry software, advanced process control, manufacturing execution systems, and planning solutions preferred Understanding of asset management and maintenance processes Willingness to travel 25%-50% #LI-BC1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
