In Eni, we are seeking a Market Risks Professional who, within the Chief Financial Officer department, will handle risk management activities related to commodity price risks. Collaborations: The Eni team in the CFO function plays a crucial role in defining scenarios and medium-long term planning. They contribute by overseeing processes related to administration and financial statements, finance, mergers & acquisitions, planning, and control, supporting business lines to achieve strategic objectives, and working within multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities within the Commodity Market Risk Control team: Contribute to the assessment and reporting of key risk indicators (PaR, VaR, ES, P&L) for Eni's business lines, focusing on energy commodity price risks. Regularly analyze trading and hedging strategies, highlighting key risk factors and market assumptions underlying portfolio management activities. Periodically report to key Risk Committees on risk limit compliance, effectiveness of risk management activities, and the evolution of financial variables. Perform quantitative analyses related to risk management, pricing, and the use of financial derivatives. Support risk owners in quantifying risks and monitoring risk reduction plans. Maintain and adapt company policies and procedures regarding the risk control framework. Requirements: Master's degree in economics or related fields; relevant experience may substitute formal education. At least 3 years of experience, preferably in energy, risk management, or commodity trading. Knowledge of programming (e.g., Python). Good command of English.
