Hiring Department The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Business & Finance Job Description Job Duties: Provide confidential support to the Executive Director and Director for Finance, utilizing strong judgment and decision-making skills. Assist with critical projects by researching background information, gathering historical data, preparing briefing materials, forecasting needs, analyzing information, and summarizing results to support decision-making processes. Develop and maintain spreadsheets, written reports, and PowerPoint presentations. Also, maintain databases and support website updates. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Division of Finance & Business Services, ensuring professional and positive relations with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to ensure compliance with system-wide policies and that all documents meet established standards for campus-wide use. Assist in communicating policy updates to relevant stakeholders. Support other administrative functions within the Dean's suite. Contribute to key annual activities within the Division of Business & Finance, such as Year-End activities, CARTS, Budget meetings, and Merit increases. Foster effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines and timelines are met efficiently and effectively. Shift Type: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Office/Administrative Hours: Yes - Position will have Office/Admin Hours Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: No Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
