This company, based in the United States (New York), is a SaaS firm focused on empowering Amazon Sellers through advanced technology solutions. They specialize in developing scalable, data-driven platforms that integrate seamlessly with Amazon's infrastructure, enabling their users to make smarter business decisions. The client is in the process of rebuilding their tech stack, aiming for a high-performing team with strong architectural leadership to take things to the next level. ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Latin America Type of contract: Contractor, 100% remote set-up Salary: To be discussed – based on candidate’s expected hourly rate What You’ll Do Architect and design scalable SaaS platforms for Amazon Sellers, ensuring robust integration with Amazon SP API, Advertising API, and related services. Supervise the development team, providing technical leadership and ensuring alignment with architectural vision. Oversee deployment and hosting using AWS services. Lead the system design using MySQL for data storage and Python for backend logic, including cron jobs and time series-based calculations. Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across the project. Facilitate knowledge transfer processes and onboard new team members as needed. Collaborate with QA and product management teams to deliver a cohesive and high-quality product. Must-Have Expertise Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in SaaS environments. Deep hands-on knowledge of Amazon SP API, Amazon Advertising API, and other relevant Amazon APIs. Strong architectural experience with AWS cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in MySQL and Python, particularly in complex algorithmic or time series data environments. Solid understanding of scalable system design, deployment pipelines, and cron-based processes. Ability to supervise technical teams and drive project execution effectively. Nice-to-Have Superpowers Experience working with remote Latin American development teams.
