This role is part of the LATAM A2R Finance team and will be responsible for overseeing several A2R processes with teams located in the Argentina and Mexico. **You will be responsible for**: - Responsible for leading accounting and daily operations in process areas outside of the global hub including but not limited to Legal Entity Accounting, Financial Reporting, Interfaces, Revenue, Procurement and General Accounting. - Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements. - Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope. - Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas. - Champions & supports continuous improvement mindset throughout the team, identifying and pursuing business and efficiency opportunities. - Champion & Influence strategy & solutions demonstrating strong Business acumen. - Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach - Passion to lead, champion and support operational change for the greater good of the global organization **Compliance** - Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities - Ensure adherence, monitor, remediate and align compliance responsibilities with stakeholders. Manage, mitigate, and escalate risks on a timely basis - Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings **Leadership and People Management** - Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team - Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team - Ensure effective performance management within team - Lead Accounting team of 2 **Travel** - Up to 10-20% international travel **Qualifications** Qualifications and requirements** - A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance - CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred - Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English. **Experience and Skills Required**: - At least 8 years of professional experience is required - At least 3 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels - Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders - Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies - Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO - Experience in a Global Account to Report fu
