Logistics Specialist Opportunity \ This position offers the chance to develop skills in international shipping, customer service and process management. \ The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate data and ensuring seamless communication with customers and colleagues. \ Key Responsibilities: \ \ - Maintain operational excellence by understanding processes, documentation and terminology involved in international shipping. \ - Input applicable financial components of shipments to generate correct billing for customers. \ - Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges. \ - Execute/coordinate shipments and mentor others on how to meet all customer SOP requirements. \ - Create, maintain and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring accurate data. \ - Provide complex quotes based on needs of network. \ - Coach and train others on pricing strategies. \ - Provide track and trace service to customers and generates shipment documents. \ - Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. \ - Monitor customer shipment trends and its impact on our processes and operations. \ - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement initiatives. \ - Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding timely and effectively to their needs. \ - Act as a key customer contact and subject matter expert. \ - Lead by example when it comes to customer outreach, retention and expansion. \ - Communicate clearly, timely and effectively with customers, agents, CHR offices and outside vendors. \ - Provide support to Sales Executives and Account Managers for customer reporting. \ - Identify opportunities to improve or implement technology solutions to recognize efficiencies and improve net revenue. \ - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. \ - Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to team and/or country specific requirements. \ - Bid on new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to increase revenue. \ - Analyze sales data and make recommendations to improve sales strategies. \ - Mentor and train junior staff members on logistics and customer service skills. \ - Demonstrate expertise in supply chain and logistics principles, including transportation modes, freight forwarding, customs procedures and warehouse management. \ - Serve as a resource and expert to the department, branch and network on customer requirements and process initiatives. \ - Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally. \ - Contribute to a positive work culture and promote diversity and inclusion within the company. \ - Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. \ - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. \ - Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. \ - Utilize technology and automation to streamline processes and improve productivity. \ - Identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements to reduce expenses. \\
