Job Summary: As an Inside Sales/ Business Development Executive, your primary function will be to increase LTL freight sales, generate gross profit, develop relationships with new clients who can provide repeat business, handle the daily operations for those accounts, and manage their accounts receivables. Responsibilities: Research leads, develop entrance strategies, and qualify prospects. Analyze prospects’ current LTL situation and propose solutions to reduce costs, improve efficiencies, or solve transportation issues. Prepare rates for prospective business partners and gain opportunities that will assist you in successfully meeting your monthly, quarterly, and team goals and initiatives. Manage existing business accounts, provide quotes, schedule shipments, and continuously exude the highest level of customer service. Manage customer credit and receivables process for account base. Meet or exceed monthly gross profit goals and key performance indicators. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5 years of B2B Sales experience. Proven experience in solution selling, including understanding business needs and effective questioning techniques. Proficient in using sales software such as HotSpot, Seamless AI, and Break Central. Experience with Microsoft Office software. Ability to handle and prioritize high call volumes and customer inquiries. Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to make a high volume of calls (minimum 60 per day) and emails required to drive new business. Capability to work in a blended role of operations and sales. Proven track record in managing complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally. Demonstrated success in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as gross profit sales, call volumes, and lead generation.
