Reporting to the CPO, you’ll be working directly alongside our product technology team. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of web applications and platforms, and managing and mentoring a team of developers. This role requires a strong technical background in WordPress, PHP, and Python development. The work involves a broad range of responsibilities, so be prepared to be hands-on while simultaneously taking a big-picture approach to systems design, DevOps, deployment strategies, and more. Key Responsibilities: Manage and contribute to full-stack software design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability, and performance. Work closely with the Product, Operations, and Content teams to understand strategic goals, with the intent of architecting the platform optimally for feature delivery. Manage and guide a development team in adopting best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards. Build and manage CI/CD processes and tools. Exhibit excellent cross-functional communication skills. Qualifications: 6+ years of full-stack software development experience on a customer-facing application. Hands-on experience working with RESTful web services and APIs. Hands-on experience with SQL databases. Linux admin and sysops/devops experience preferred. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) also preferred.
