About the Position We're seeking a Mulesoft Developer in Medellín, Colombia, to architect and build critical API integrations connecting healthcare providers' EHR systems with our platform. This role will define how healthcare data flows through our platform, enabling better patient care through real-time system integration. Key Responsibilities - Design scalable integration solutions for seamless data exchange between diverse EHR systems and our platform. - Lead the design and development of Mulesoft applications, ensuring alignment with business needs. - Design error handling and monitoring strategies for mission-critical healthcare integrations. - Establish integration architecture standards and best practices for healthcare data exchange. - Develop and maintain detailed implementation and migration documentation. - Implement CI/CD workflows for controlled releases with automated testing and post-deployment monitoring. - Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Requirements - 3-5 years of Mulesoft development experience with expertise in API design, integration patterns, and data transformation. - Hands-on experience with Mulesoft Anypoint platform, including API-led connectivity and error handling strategies. - Proven experience integrating with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare data standards. - Experience building integrations that handle high-volume, mission-critical healthcare data with minimal downtime. - Experience with healthcare data formats and protocols (HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON). - Knowledge of AWS services, particularly Secrets Manager and deployment tools. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Desired Qualifications - MuleSoft certifications (Developer Level 1/2, Platform Architect). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST). - Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
