We want everyone who works for us to fulfil their full potential and take their career with us as far as they can. **At a glance** Reporting to the Head of Technology, as the Development Manager, you will lead the way with our development teams in using Agile methodology and Scrum practices. You will manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at our different global locations. Working across development, testing and release teams, you will ensure successful delivery of our next generation projects. We own and develop our own software which drives all aspects of our business. To achieve our growth plans, we need to be innovative, collaborative and adaptive and you will play a vital role in ensuring the software meets our high quality standards. **Job Title**:Development Manager **Location**:Medellín, Colombia **Salary**:Negotiable, depends on experience **Work Pattern**:Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5pm hybrid. First 2 months on site then, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH. **English Level**:C1 certificated. **Key responsibilities** - Own, drive and deliver innovative, quality software development projects that will drive the company's growth. - Report on Sprint progress and be able to report to senior management on the level of progress. - Guide cross functional and diverse teams to deliver goals, outputs and build products using Agile ceremonies. Promote collaboration across internal teams and the department. - Ensure Sprints are on track and any questions from developers are addressed accurately and quickly. - Own the production of the RoadMap to deliver software solutions and manage your teams to achieve the plan. - Define team member roles, set expectations, and ensure timely feedback. - Be an Agile champion, coaching team members on Agile and DevOps principles, tools and techniques and review metrics to drive improvements, removing any blockers. Aim to support Scrum teams in self-organisation. - Identify, resolve and communicate issues between departments to ensure swift and effective resolutions whilst protecting the team from outside interference. **About You** **Knowledge and Abilities** - Considerable experience in a role planning Agile software development projects. - Proven ability to manage, support and coach others. - Experience working in a global team, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
