This critical role involves shaping data architecture strategies and solutions for our enterprise data warehouse. Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling needs. Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, sourcing data from multiple insurance and reinsurance systems. Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration. Create logical and physical data models and implement them on Microsoft SQL Server platforms. Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code. Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion; write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity. Analyze and design enterprise data models for reporting and support reporting teams in utilizing the data warehouse effectively. Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment. Develop Microsoft SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development. Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures. Requirements 5 years of experience in data architecture and design with development teams. 3 years of experience within the insurance and reinsurance domain. Advanced experience extracting data from insurance applications. Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence architectures. Capability to create and tune semantic layer reporting views. Knowledge of relational database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server. B.S. degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics. Strong interpersonal skills, proficient in both written and verbal communication. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Nice to Have Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claims Center.
