Job Title: Accounting Assistant - Insurance Industry Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Faith Insurance Group LLC, a growing insurance company. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. - Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with industry regulations. - Support monthly and quarterly closings, including premium and commission reconciliations. - Coordinate with underwriters, agents, and external partners on billing and payment matters. - Help prepare reports for audits, regulatory filings, and financial reviews. - Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role (insurance industry experience is a plus). - Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, AMS systems). - Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
