Click here to learn more about us! **Job Summary**: The UX Designer is a key participant in developing the user experience within the ZOLL portfolio of SaaS products, specifically the ZOLL Billing product. You will work with Product, Engineering, and QA, along with other members of the UX team, to develop a consistent user experience theme for the Billing product within the ZOLL Online platform. In designing product specific UX solutions, you love to dig beyond just the look and feel and really get into the personas to deliver a holistic solution. You have a strong sense of empathy and know how to lead others to come to shared understanding. You will be responsible for improving our existing UX to better serve our customers' needs and delivering new feature designs that are in keeping with the overall User Experience strategy **How you'll make an impact**: - Understand user needs and desires in the creation of efficient, consistent, and balanced user experience for our Billing product - Advocate for the user and evangelize Design Thinking principles within the product team - Delight our customers with the intuitive UX based on user workflows and personas - Interact with customers to establish user stories and refine them by collaborating with the product team, engineering, and other internal teams - Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate the experience and design ideas effectively - Contribute to the creation, definition, and implementation of a design system and product-specific style guide - Integrate user research and testing into the design process and communicate results to help inform product design direction - Effectively communicate functionality and content for product management, on-site and offshore development, teams - Collaborate with other UX practitioners in the organization to create a seamless and consistent experience across the product suite - Evaluate and optimize the performance of new and existing features - Other job-related duties as assigned **What you'll need**: - 5+ years of experience as a user experience professional - Portfolio demonstrating an ability to design responsive and adaptive user experience across devices - Solid understanding of professional methodologies and best practices used to develop and implement a complex user experience - Demonstrated experience in creating deliverables for complex interfaces: use cases, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and personas - Ability to actively engage users throughout the product lifecycle, using a variety of research and testing methodologies to develop data-driven design - Ability to thrive in a transitioning environment: flexibility, willingness to pivot, and openness to change - Deep knowledge of at least one UX/UI prototyping tool, e.g., Sketch (preferred), InVision, Axure, Figma, etc. - Experience working in an Agile environment on a scrum team - A passion for the art and science of usability and the user experience **Bonus points if you have**: - B.A. or B.S. in Human-Centered Computing or similar discipline - Knowledge of accessibility best practices - Mobile development experience **Perks & Benefits** ZOLL provides a casual work environment, competitive salaries, and a compensation structure that rewards contribution and hard work.
