**Soaring Towers** **Level 2 IT Technician Microsoft 365 & Networking Focus(Fully Remote Contract via UpWork)** Are you a skilled IT professional with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, networking, and client support? Soaring Towers is seeking a **Level 2 IT Technician** to join our fully remote team. We're hiring in **Q3 2025** and looking for a team member who brings technical expertise, great communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support. **What You'll Do**: - **M365 Support & Admin**: Troubleshoot and configure Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.), manage user permissions, and assist with migrations. - **Network Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve issues related to DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and general connectivity. - **Process Documentation**: Create and maintain SOPs for recurring support scenarios, client-specific environments, and internal tools. - **Client Communication**: Maintain a professional tone while delivering clear, helpful support and updates to clients. - **Team Coordination**: Collaborate with Level 1 techs and escalate complex issues as needed. - **Security Awareness**: Help ensure clients follow best practices in M365 security (MFA, DLP policies, conditional access, etc.). **Requirements**: - **2+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support role** with emphasis on M365 and networking. - Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, especially **Exchange Online**, **Teams**, **OneDrive**, **SharePoint**, and **Entra ID (Azure AD)**. - Solid grasp of **networking fundamentals**, including **IP addressing**, **firewalls**, **VPNs**, and **DNS**. - Comfortable using remote support tools (e.g., Quick Assist, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, ConnectWise, etc.). - Excellent written and verbal English (C1 or above). - Experience working independently and remotely in a client-facing environment. - Reliable internet and a quiet home office setup. **Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)**: - M365 certifications (MS-900, MD-102, or AZ-104) - Experience with endpoint protection tools (SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint, etc.) - Familiarity with IT documentation tools like IT Glue or Hudu - Light scripting (PowerShell) for M365 automation **Why Join Soaring Towers?** - **Competitive Pay**: $15.00 $30.00/hr via UpWork - **100% Remote Work**: Work from anywhere with flexible hours - **Room to Grow**: Expand your technical skills and take on more responsibility over time - **Tight-Knit Team**: Join a tech-forward MSP that values precision, communication, and innovation If you're a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment and knows Microsoft 365 and networking inside and out **we want to hear from you**.
