We are looking for a Lead Data DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the architecture of our projects. You will work closely with customers, peers, and vendors to resolve complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and ensure technical standards are maintained. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Data DevOps solutions Design, deploy, and manage data infrastructure in the cloud, primarily using one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement engineering best practices Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and applications Ensure the security, availability, and performance of data platforms Automate and streamline data-related processes, ensuring scalability and reliability Install, configure, and maintain data tools such as Apache Spark, Kafka, ELK Stack, NiFi, Airflow, or similar in both on-premises and cloud environments Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, proactively resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data infrastructure needs Requirements 5+ years of relevant professional experience Experience leading and managing complex engineering projects (1+ year) Experience designing and implementing Data DevOps solutions Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash Knowledge of database technologies and data management best practices Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation Experience installing and configuring data tools such as Spark, Kafka, ELK Stack, NiFi, Airflow Knowledge of SQL Proficiency with Linux operating systems B2+ English proficiency We offer Learning Culture with access to platforms and internal courses for professional growth Health Coverage for you and up to four family members Visual Benefit of up to $200,000 COP for eye health expenses Life Insurance Plan through MetLife Medical Leave Coverage for up to 90 days at 100% Professional Growth Opportunities with comprehensive development tools Stock Option Purchase Plan Additional Income opportunities through referrals and other activities Global community of over 50,000 employees for learning and networking We accept CVs in English only.
