Supporting and coordinating Associate’s activities, while supporting Snr Consultant in the execution of consultancy design and implementation activities. A Consultant has a focus on either Delivery Management of SAM or Procurement. Should be willing to learn to all round skills for both SAM Delivery and Procurement assignments. **Responsibilities**: - Lead the successful on boarding of new mid large size SLM customer engagements. Ensure successful delivery of larger engagements with medium complexity based on best practices. Serves as a motivating role model and maintains the ability to coach less experienced team members in larger and more complex services. Coordinating and executing service project plans. Support the transfer of existing, established SLM customer engagements between consultants as required. Pre-sales: Supporting Solutions Specialists in consulting customers regarding best SAM service solution. Frequently produces content for the service community internally and externally (community, blogs, whitepapers,...). Execution of tasks as defined within customer project plan. Ensure the execution of solution in accordance with SoftwareONE service and project methodologies. Effective internal and external communication with all stakeholders. Direct customer contact. Working on customer site (as required). Participate in and contribute to Customer and SoftwareONE business review meetings. Consistently demonstrating SoftwareONE’s core values, both externally and internally. Design and implementation of Software Lifecycle Management solutions in customer’s environments. Drive consultative selling activities within a customer environment - service upselling opportunities. Assist in the development of global SLM service portfolio and strategy (as required) - Leading SPOC for small, mid-size or large, simple and/or complex customer engagements - Support and deliver on service customization for non-standardized service requirements - Development functional service concepts - Supporting SAM tool demonstrations and enablement for customer end users - Providing training to key customer and internal end users (toolset and delivery processes) - Lead SLM Diagnostic workshops for mid - large size customer, analysing customer processes and policies, benchmarking maturity, and presenting results to customers - Inventory / entitlement data analysis, collection and QA - Importing inventory / entitlement data to SAM tools and QA - Inventory / entitlement data reconciliation, analysis and peer review of compliance reporting - In SAM tool license configuration and - Providing recommendations to customers to help improve their compliance position or achieve savings (e.g. licence re-harvesting opportunities, cloud opportunities, software rationalization) 2) Procurement - Perform software license purchase transactions for defined products/ publishers - Initiate and complete software license contract renewals for tier 2 Publishers - Answer licensing questions, leveraging SoftwareONE’s internal expertise and network - On-site license procurement related tasks - Support Strategic Software License Sourcing Specialist for low item value software license spend (as required) - Order transaction coordination and fulfilment on SoftwareONE side (function of inside sales) - Analyze and advise large / complex customers on licensing contracts. What we need to see from you: Consultant Asset Management - Advanced understanding of Microsoft’s Software Platform such as Windows Servers, Windows Operation Systems, Database, Desktop/Server Management - Understanding of IT environments / infrastructure. - Good knowledge of cloud/hybrid envronments and solutions - Skills in business process analysis and optimization - Strong consultative commercial acumen - Advanced licensing and contracts knowledge for key publishers - Advanced experience with SAM Tools - Snow License Manager / Flexera / Service-Now SAM Pro / Aspera/ Movere Consultant Procurement - Working experience in the area of software license sourcing / software asset management - Professional written and verbal communication skills - Good relationship management skil
